I've just bought 5 homemade pots and noticed it has egg in it.

Husband says no. I think, I want it.

What would you do?

Oh, heavens, too much worrying about what you can anc can't eat when pg can't be good for you!

I was very careful with ds, a bit more lacksidasical this time - brie sarnies, Mr Whippies, etc. I've got sodding chicken pox though - now that is scary. Avoiding small children during pg should be top of the list.

MMmmm - i agree with SethStarkaddersMum.
If it's Ben and Jerrys - they use uncooked egg in most of their ice-cream. Fact.

Well I drank (occasionally and in moderation) ate offal, rare steak, soft eggs, brie, ice cream, and any other damn thing I wanted, and had chicken pox during pregnancy, and didn't take folic acid, and to add insult to injury I gave all my babies a bottle of formula after only a few measly weeks of BF, and weaned them all before 12 weeks, on non-organic food, and I fed them peanut butter. And salt. And I let them have the occasional proper sugar-laden biscuit complete with hydrogenated fats before they were old enough to say 'BickiePeg' or 'carrot stick'. But then my youngest is nearly 11 and we were allowed to in those days. No-one arrested you or made you worry yourself to death.

They are all fab, fit and healthy BTW, no allergies, no asthma, nothing. I'm not saying you shouldn't take care of yourself and your baby (born or unborn) just keep it all in perspective.

Ah, now the fags would do more damage than all the other things we've mentioned put together, and then some - and look at how many people still do that? That's what I meant by perspective. What's the odd bowl of Hagan Daaz compared to 20 a day?

The Mr Whippy van was dirty and horrible and I had the well-fingered flake AND the gross green and red sauces (after being advised by friend's DH, quite correctly, that they both taste the same) AND I let him roll it in the dirty tray of sprinkles. And it was lovely. Bit of a rip-off at £1.50 though, but them's the breaks.

Also ate rare beef (very very rare) salad at nice restaurant on Friday. Was delicious.

Was told off by friends the other week for eating a Fiorentina pizza with a runny egg on it - "are you supposed to eat runny egg when you're pregnant?"
"No, but you're not meant to eat goats cheese either and I had that for starter, so in for a penny..."
