Had a terribly bad day and decided to take it out on a driver who was lacking indicators.

He turned left at a roundabout, didn't indicate.

He turned left into my street, didn't indicate.

He pulled over to park on the kerb, didn't indicate.

So as I drove past I stopped as his window was open.

WIBU to shout "are your indicators not working?" he replied saying "don't know" and I informed him he hadn't used them since we'd been on Durham Road. He just looked at me a bit confused. (probably freaked out by a mad cow)

Well do you know I never knew that it was illegal to drive a car with L plates when you're not a learner. Wonder why.

A learner driver shouldn't be on their own in the car, or on a motorway for example. So if a car with L plates has only one adult in it or is on a motorway, the police would have to pull it over. Which would be a waste of time if the person driving had a full licence. L plates on a car are to indicate that a learner is driving so should not be on if it's not a learner driving.

Anyway, I digress. YANBU.

Oh I see, yes that makes sense. Waste of time checking that the person driving is actually OK to drive.
OTOH that doesn't stop learners driving alone in a car without L plates!
