...to be having the time of my life at Centre Parks?

or at least definitely the best time I have had since I've had children.

I had read a rundown of it here a few weeks before we were due to come and I was a bit nervous that the whole thing would be a terrible waste of money and time, but we all love it!

the children are constantly happy and entertained, which makes everyone else happy...

Food is very expensive and rubbish, but that was all expected so came prepared.
got to go now, the children are sleeping soundly after an exhausting day and my whirpool bath is calling my name ;-)

(btw, we're not rich, just a very cheap upgrade for term time, handy when you only have preschoolers)

So... will I be kicked off MN for loving CP?

glad I can stay on MN then :-)

We had dinner at Bella Italia on the first night here and I noticed that noone was staring and tutting at us when DS starting showing off his lungs' strength, because everyone was too busy trying to keep their own kids quiet...

YABU but only 'cause you didn't invite me . We didn't go this year because we were saving for a big summer holiday. We usually go very January. We're not going next yr either because everyone else wants to go to Scotland for 'good snow'. I hate snow.

We usually do the upgrade too. Do you have a sauna, steam room or outdoor hot tub? We like the Sauna.

I love it - we're going in June for the 4th year running and I can't wait.

The best thing is that ds's are happy and busy the whole time - now they're older we book fewer activities and they'll be on the bikes most of the time and it's (more or less!) car-free - brilliant.

Having said all that, I can see a time when I'll never want to go again - i.e. when ds's are fed up of it/have left home - but for the next few years it's just fab.

Never been - but enjoy - why not?? (saw this thread and wondered whether it was like the Alex cartoon in the DT yesterday - you have to stay at Centre Parcs cos you told the office you were at some posh exotic resort and now have to be 'stranded'! But see you have pre-schoolers)

We have been also.
Went to Elveden when the children were v. young & had a great time.
I think early a.m.they had a parents & toddlers session in the pool.

Also been to one in Holland so son could have a go on the quad bikes.

Got some great pics of him in all the kit!

We loved Center parcs in France so have booked Whinfell Forest this year. All the boys are really looking forward to it although ds3 is actually more looking forward to the Dublin-Liverpoor ferry!
