Im pissed off. Just thought Id make that clear!
Ive just spent ages making my 3 & 1 yr old DC's chicken pie, roast potaotes, and roast root veg for their dinner. My 1yr old is munching happily, but apparently my daughter, 3, thinks hers looks 'dirty' so wont touch it.
Ive let her have some of my tomato soup.

Is it ok to put hers in the fridge and heat up agin for dinner? Im hoping that her little strop will have been forgotton and she will actually eat it! Or is that very mean, should I just bin it and accept toddlers are little shits clueless to waste?

oh yes reheat. Or alternatively, send round here as that meal would be gone in under a minute

Sounds lovely - I'll have it!

You could always heat it up for your LO as at least you know it will get eaten.

Firawla · 15/04/2010 13:30

yes reheat its a waste to just throw away, so give her another chance to eat it

Phew, my mum was joking about how her dad used to serve up left overs as a punishment if they didnt finish their meal, and its made me feel cruel!!

My mouth is watering just looking at it, but Im on a sodding diet so can only have soup, and its also the first day of my period so I dont think my kids have the chance of a fair trial today

Thanks ladies!

She knew there wasnt an alternative, and was happy going back to her puzzles.
But I gave her soup as I cant quite do the 'no dinner' thing
Goddamit!
