I don't mean the ruder rugby-style stuff

In anticipation of the World CUp I was making sure they can sing "Vindaloo, vindaloo..." etc.. "We're gonna score one more than you... Engerland!" And "It's coming home, it's coming, football's coming home".

DS is in reception and I want him to be able to hold his own if his class-mates are singing come the summer. I'm also myself already looking forward to the world cup.

But there was just a little bit of me that thought - "Is this how my parents brought me up?". I came from a family of girls. This doesn't seem quite "right" to me.

Absolutely right. DD (at 20 months) is just starting to learn the chant for my local team, and to say it when I get her football shirt out.

She also got very upset in the park today because I didn't take a ball with me, and I didn't let her join in with the big kids.

You know what Pozzled, I am delighted to see that I am not being unreasonable.

Pah - who are these people who can't hack the AIBU heat?

Joke, joke, please don't hit me MN thread finished. IANBU ok? IANBU.

I think as long as it's not "You fat bastard you ate all the pies" or "We all shagged Matilda" then it's okay
