We ordered a shed from argos, was supposed to be here between 7-9am, still no delivery.

We have theatre tickets at 12 o'clock and Ive been told by frig gin numb nuts Argos that our delivery wont be here until after 1!

So £48 went down the drain, and a very unhappy little boy!

No one to wait in also, and shed needs delivering today and garden being landscaped tomorrow! Im Ggggggrrrrrr

and Argos, saying its not their problem and that delivery is only a estimate, and that any extra activities within their day time slot is not their problem!

WANKERS!

Just ask them. Buy them flowers or wine. You have a small child who is going to be very disappointed and they will take pity on you

If your neighbour is in, I would go round and explain the whole sorry tell to them. Who wouldn't be sympathetic in the circumstances?

LittleMrsHappy · 07/04/2010 11:09

Ok asked neighbour and she said I was daft not to ask her in the 1st place so were off with one extremely tiger riffic bouncy boy lol x

Sorry but I think you are being a little UR.

It's Argos..you should have known. if your garden is being landscaped tomorrow then delivery arranged for today means it's a bit late to sort now it has inevitably, gone tits up.

I've had nothing but trouble from Argos. I don't think they could organise the proverbial party in a brewery.

Go to the show though. Your son's happiness is more important.

mangoandlime · 07/04/2010 11:59

I see it's all sorted in the time it took to type! Have a good time!

2rebecca · 07/04/2010 12:03

Glad it worked out, but if 2 adults are off work and going to theatre today I don't get why one of you couldn't have gone with kids and the other stayed and signed for shed if no helpful neighbours.

LittleMrsHappy · 08/04/2010 09:24

2rebecca, the "we" is me and ds1. Dh away on business.

When we ordered the shed it states delivery in 5-7 working days. we had a week spare for any time delay.

Argos had it in their store room since the 27th and It got delivered at 5.05pm last night.

We had a fab time at the theatre tho.

Write to the Chief Executive, Sara Weller, and ask for compensation for non-delivery:
