his bags of dog shit into his OWN bin and NOT into mine. And that his excuse that my DS2's shitty nappies going into my bin are just the same as his dog shit is just out of fucking order....?

cheeky beggar! dog poo is sooo much more disgusting than baby poo. How rude of him.

I like how you were thinking about this at nearly 2am though

giraffesCANdriveAcar · 04/04/2010 11:05

yuck

AmazingBouncingFerret · 04/04/2010 11:16

You need to get a motion sensor thingymajig to go off screaming "get the fuck away from my bin!" when he opens the lid.

Infact considering theres been another thread about bins im thinking of marketing this idea... Hello millions!

emsyj · 04/04/2010 11:30

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. I would lose my rag with said neighbour. YANBU.

JustMyTwoPenceWorth · 04/04/2010 13:11

Or tell him to find the nearest dog poop bin and chuck it in there. That is so nasty, just tell him its not the same as a childs nappy and if he doesnt stop report him to the council!

MeMudmagnet · 04/04/2010 17:47

Yep, I'd put your dc's nappies in his bin.

Your dc will produce more than his dog!

displayuntilbestbefore · 04/04/2010 17:53

Report him to the council. It's disgusting and I doubt that domestic bins are supposed to be filled with dog shit are they?

displayuntilbestbefore · 04/04/2010 17:54

But if he's a nasty man and might retaliate, then be wary of reporting him - in case he finds other places to put his doggy bags

rainbowinthesky · 04/04/2010 17:56

You are allowed to put your dog poo in domestic bins (your own preferably).

displayuntilbestbefore · 04/04/2010 17:59

I didn't know that. Bad enough having it in your own bin let alone putting it in someone else's.
Ewwwww. Not a pleasant neighbour.

rainbowinthesky · 04/04/2010 18:01

Actually my dogs poo is far less offensive than my dcs nappies were. Must be because we feed them raw meat and bones.

Not suggesting it's okay to put poo bags in neighbours bins though!

higgle · 04/04/2010 18:03

Yes, and mother and former dog owner (sadly deceased) I must say dog poo not so yucky as used nappies - but I still would not want anyone elses in my bin.

teaandcakeplease · 04/04/2010 18:04

What a horrid neighbour! YADNBU!

But short of keeping it in your backyard until bin day, or putting a lock on it, I can't see how you police it.

But tit for tat revenge (which is tempting) may make it worse. Several thoughts crossed my mind but none would help just inflame the situation if he thinks/ acts like that as you've already spoken to him.

outnumbered2to1 · 04/04/2010 21:08

Rock steady - i was still so fecking angry at this arsehole that i couldn't sleep and DS2 is cutting his back teeth so no one getting any sleep in our house.

My bin WAS in my garden but neighbours garden is separated from mine by the path used by the others in the terrace row to bring their bins around to the street for emptying on collection day. My bins used to sit up against the fence next to this path but since i caught this arse with his doggy poo bags - he lets his dog out into their back garden to do its business then cleans it up once a week - the smell in summer was delightfull - so it was a week's worth of shit i caught him with.

My bins are now along the side of my house as far away from the fence as i can get and i have contacted our housing authority about it. Plus i "casually" mentioned the ten foot high shed he illegally built in his back garden.....
