To take deliveries to a town on the other side of my village, they could also bloody well delivery IN my village.

Much excitement when the new Waitrose opened not 10 miles from us. Hurrah! Ocado delivery again which to be fair I've missed since moving back up here.

Bloody website says 'we don't deliver to your postcode....' and just caught them delivering in the next town on.

Asda deliver next door on both sides, but not to us! Our postcode doesn't exist on their database, so they don't deliver. Can't put in next doors' as you then can't change the address. They used to, then must have updated website with a big typo.

Ooh hello OcadoAnnie - how long have MN had an ocado rep then?!

Since you're here, can you tell me whether you notify people when you start stocking a product that they have done a product request for? I've done 3 or 4 now, but heard nothing back about any of them.

OcadoAnnie · 13/04/2010 19:44

CantSleepWontSleep - I've been on here since January; not very active until more people cottoned on to my presence though! Mumsnet gave us permission to help out a few customers back then, so I keep an eye out for Ocado-related queries and help where I can.

We always used to send e-mails letting customers know when their requested product was available, but there?s a bit of a glitch at the moment, so we?re looking into it. Sorry about that!

Ocada annie, please can you get them to deliver to me...I am in Cork and have no postcode, but I am fairly posh if it helps.

OcadoAnnie, you're very kind to be checking, the second part of my postcode is 2AW

Go on, let them know I'm about 3 miles away and I'd be a very polite customer

Thanks

I think you should give them the neighbours' postcode and your house number, and if they complain say "Oh, did I type 2AQ? I meant to type 2AW!! So sorry. Never mind, you obviously found it ok, same time next week..?"

OcadoAnnie · 16/04/2010 19:41

Madascheese - No joy I'm afraid. I did all I could for you but at the moment we're not expanding that far unfortunately. I'd recommend registering your postcode on our website though(www.ocado.com/webshop/registration.do) with a new e-mail address (I believe you said before that you used to shop with us), then we'll e-mail you when we expand to those extra 3 miles! Sorry I couldn't help more.

Madascheese · 17/04/2010 12:17

awwww looks for toys to throw out of the pram - decides I have bigger fish to fry til DS can come home

Seriously, thanks anyway. I appreciate you trying for me, I feel very valued!

Ah, I see why you're reluctant then. My branch couldn't be better, I don't have ocado but I wouldn't change if I could. My sister does though and rates them.
