To love Asdas summer clothes range

I recently bought some summer tops from Asda. Puff sleve jumper, fitted really well, good quality, Ditsy Dip hem cami, also fitted well and good quality too and a spot stripe cami which fitted really well, looked good and was really cheap. I am so pleased, I payed a fraction of what I would pay in Topshop or Next for example and I will keep them for next summmer too until they fall apart.

Are the quality and fit of George clothes getting better I wonder. I am I being U to love Asdas clothing range at the moment.

What is U about liking clothes you have bought? I'd have thought it was a deal more U (and quite bonkers) to make a deliberate point of choosing bagfulls of ill-fitting, unflattering stuff you hated.

Or are you actually wondering whether

(a) that's quite enough "advertorial" for ASDA?

Or

(b) if it is possible to work out how many small children were used in the production of those puffed sleeves?

No just liked them and was quite happy with them. Just because its expensive does not mean that small children were not used in the production of them. Some designer lables also make their clothes in theird world countries. I am on a tight budget so cannot afford the high prices of Fairtrade clothes like a lot of people. No I am no way affiliated to Asda and do not work for them, just happy with this seasons ranges.

pigletmania I thought the ranges was lovely.I nipped in there yesterday.I liked the navy linen jacket with ruffle collar,v.nice.Bought ds4 a few quite cute t shirts.Tbh we will never fully know what is made where,so the sweatshop issue is not somthing I dwell on.

pigletmania · 31/03/2010 17:51

Exactly darkandstormy. I dont drive and the ASDA is quite a treck away so i often go onine shopping for dd clothes and sometimes mine. when you are on a tight budget and only have X amount to spend on kids clothes and those foryourself the last thing on your mind is where they are made.

I like their stuff too. And I don't think you are U to post in AIBU, S&B can be a scary place

pigletmania · 31/03/2010 18:06

oh yes those Trinny and Susannah types lol

I got some jeans in there that actually fit really well. I always used to think you had to pay a bit more for well fitting jeans but was pleasantly surprised with them. Plus they do longer length.
