To think that PAL promotions have bullied me

On holiday in Mallorca we fell for the sales patter and bought a wool system from PAL Promotions on the understanding that it would be "Ideal" to help my husband with temperature control at night. It states on their literature that these blankets will be cool in summer and comfortably warm in winter and that you will not get too hot in them. They give a fortnight's cooling off period, but don't deliver them till 3 weeks later. We did not pay for them.
When they came they were much too hot for both of us, so we asked if we could return them.
We have been trying, with the help of the European Consumer Council to get them to change their mind, but they will not budge and threaten to take us to court.
Since the thought of that was making us both feel ill I have now paid up. AIBU to feel annoyed?

please can you or anyone else help me? i also left my commen sense at home and fell for pals sale patter. i am still in the cooling off period and so want to get out of this asap .my young dog has eaten my paperwork so i have no contact info for paL!! im realy stressed and worried

Me to and bought the complete Kingsize set £1339 but after receiving it the mattress was too long so told them to come collect,they said we will make another if you pay half . Gave them a chance to sort ,the next mattress came after I paid £700 and lo and behold it was too wide. The ECC wasn't much help so I wrote to Pal and told them to refund my money as they havent supplied as described and the packages have sat in my front room now since November,two mattresses and all the rest of it,I am adamant that they will get no more from me, they can take me to court or come collect the goods.If they come and havent paid my money back then I will keep the bedding.This company are worse than loan sharks.Just dont let them bully you help64 if you still havent paid,then give them nothing

we visited gran canaria in January this year 2014. we purchased this system as we thought it sounded brilliant. think we may have been falsely sold this item. the bed is not what it was described as and neither is the bedding. we have asked for it all to be collected as we are not paying for this nonsense. the same man from pal promotions has been on the phone constantly and is very arrogant and has threatened that lf we don't pay he will phone me 40 to 50 times a day if he has to. these threats don't scare us but l can imagine if your a bit older this could be quite frightening. we will go the full road with this and lf we need to go to court then so be it...avoid at all costs, this is not like any company l have ever dealt with...l will update with any progress.

Good for you tambo,dont give in I'm sure I wont.Been doing loads of research on this company and have found lots of BAD write ups about them.They told me that I was the only one that had ever complained about their products.They have until the end of this month to answer my letter sent recorded delivery and if they dont then I shall go to the overseas small claims court....I to will update with progress if any made

While on holidays we signed up for the set and now need to cancel but are one day over and they won't accept cancellation unless we pay 30% of the total cost. We will have to get legal advise. We found them extremely rude and unhelpful. How I wish we weren't so stupid to order them items and would recommend people reading this to stay away from these offers. Such a rip off!

deff a rip off have yougone from the day of signing.They are definetly rude and all they want is your money.I still have my package in my front room waiting for them to collect it all.They dont seem too bothered now.I get the odd phone call but just tell them come collect it all.The ecc have dealt with itand I sent recorded delivery letter but they ignored,so the owner Mr Paco Zambrano who I sent mail to in Benidorm has two days left to answer,then I take them to the european small claims court for my £700 back. Anyone wanting any details on this company just type in PAL PROMOTIONS on google,plenty of write ups on them from customers and their own staff.

This is familiar to me (although I see it is an old thread). We too were recommended this tour by our TC rep (a few years ago now). We went on the bus tour (which included the mattress visit) and found it fascinating.

We arrived at the venue and my DD and I spotted the 'ringer couple' straight away. To be honest they were so enthusiastic about the mattresses that it was funny. No one else there cared a jot and as far as I could see only the ringer couple 'bought' anything. I didn't feel particularly pressurised into making a purchase and actually spent some time wandering around the building and enjoying the sunshine outside.

We enjoyed the rest of the tour and eventually came back to the hotel. The next day my DD spotted the ringer couple on another tour bus...

Who on earth goes on a cheap package holiday and buys very very expensive mattresses etc??? (that probably cost more than the holiday).
