to wish this bloody election was over and done with to suspect that members of the Conservative party are starting threads on mumsnet to campaign for the general election?

Is it just me or does it seem like there are now several threads a day linking to articles or comments about how bad the present government is or how badly the Labour government has handled things or will handle things in the future?

Maybe I'm reading into it all too much but it's so frequent and often so politically biased towards the Conservative party that it appears to be a deliberate campaign. Often these threads are started by the same people and to me it looks like a rather clumsy smear campaign.

Or maybe it's just me? Would be interested to know if anyone else has thought this and also if they find it as irritating as I do.

I think it can be too Antoinette which I why the sudden posting of anti-gordon Brown stuff is so obvious. That and the way it is done. Over my time here I've seen the same people be pro Labout or Pro Tory but lately there seems to be an increase in posters who suddenly appear out of nowhere to big up a particular party. It's weird.

There is just as much stuff about how awful consevatives are.

I feel that your own political bias may be influencing how you view things.

As more of a tory voting kind myself, I tend to be irritated by what I think is a massive Labour bias on these boards

There are trolls on most of the forums I read tbh - mn is no exception!

Makes me laugh to think that that rather than get out there and actually face the voters they retreat to the sanctuary of the computer to pathetically post jibes about the other parties!
