Friend asked a bloke to move out of P+T space today as he didnt have kids.. she has 4 yo twins..

She came back to find her tyres slashed.

Its not worth the agro is it? Sometimes its easier just to find somewhere else to park.

I suppose the scariest thing is that he actually had a knife to slash them...

oh dear - its not really something you WANT to put on your CV though is it? North or South (since there doesn't seem to be an east or west - strange that)

poor poor woman, well she wont be smugly slapping her butt and listening to the jingling coins knowing she's saved all that and more at cocking Asda. Tyrs are ruddy expensive. And the thug had a knife nice!

That's a really horrible thing to have happened, but why was she so determined to park in a P&T space with 4 year olds? I always thought of them as spaces for people with non-walking kids.

Motherwell asda is worse than all others...

For reasons like this, I think P&C spaces should be abolished, and that car parking spaces should be bigger!

Coatbridge car park is notoriously vile!, as is morrisons in Airdrie.

Crikey, that's is a warning.

Hope there was some CCTV to catch the bastard.

I confronted a guy in stupidly large, wide and American car.
Not just a 4 x 4. I mean a MOTHER of a car.

When I commented that it was perhaps more suitable for the wide roads of the USA he flipped out (on drugs I think and very odd)

I just smiled and said what a beautiful car it was and escaped while quaking in my boots.

Such a shame, but it's not worth dealing with these nutters without full police protection.

I agree they should just get rid of p&t spaces. I once challenged a member of staff at my local leisure centre who was putting stickers on cars parked in the disabled spaces without blue badges. I asked him when he was going to do something about the P&T spaces which were always, almost without fail used by students at the next door 6th form college. Not a baby or toddler in sight. He just said that they had to provide disabled parking spaces by law but not P&T spaces. I replied "so why do you have them then?". "For the convenience of our customers" he replied. "Not very convenient if I can never get one because they are always full of cars belonging to students."
At this point a group of 4 teenage lads arrived and got into a hatchback parked in a p&t space illustrating my point exactly. I told him from a mother of young children's point of view it is more annoying to have spaces that I can never access because they are being abused than for the spaces not to exist at all. He agreed with me but I have to say DD is now 13 and I have long since out grown the need of a p&t space but nothing has changed on that particular car park!
