So sad. I had norovirus while leading on a kids camp and although I was in bed, near the toilets it was horrible. I was surrounded by DH and friends to look after DD, but I would have preferred to be in my own house. TMI alert - was even sick while BFing DD (yuk), luckily DH was holding the bucket! Far worse to be dragged out and about with it, poor kid.

You've done the right thing to force her home with him. Hoping you're all better soon.

You did the right thing. I am still suffering from the dread virus. Both DCs had it one after the other - started with puking up and got better from then on in. I kept them off for the regulation 48 hrs and then a day after they went back to school I started puking. And that was last Thursday. And my stomach still isn't right. A friend has also got it far worse than her DCs. Have had to rely on kind neighbour to transport them.
