She was up at 6:30am this morning, had one 2hr nap between 9-11am and hasn't slept properly since. She would usually have 30mins-1hr in the afternoon but skipped it today even though we were out in the buggy which usually sends her off.

She has been lying on the floor while we've been playing, rubbing eyes, yawning, classic tired baby stuff, she also fell asleep in the highchair in the 4 mins it took me to get her dinner, I've changed her into jammies and we're watching ITNG together then I'm going to give her some milk and put her to bed. She would usually go to bed at 6:30pm.

As I'm writing it sound more and more logical but what do you think?

Yanbu narabug. Don't fret, I remember trying to keep dd1 up until her 7pm bedtime regularly, even though it was a struggle. It was ages before I got the confidence to go with the flow a bit more. Bedtimes are much easier with dd2 now I'm a bit older and wiser (older anyway), and not afraid to put her down early if she's tired.

I do still bath them both every night (unless we've been out and there isn't time), but they both love it. Horses for courses, it's a lucky mum who is totally sure of herself from the off! Enjoy a nice peaceful long evening.

it's fine - unless she's been hard at work all day and pongs, in the manner of lumbejack husband
