This is cruel of you TLES.

DS1 has a nut allergy and although we think he has grown out of it we have not had confirmation.

I made a vow 9 years ago not to have peanut butter in the house until he was clear of it.

Now I am craving it. Thanks to you. I can feel those gritty little chunks stuck in my teeth.

I am reporting this thread for causing me distress.

You caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

PandaEis · 13/03/2010 11:36

peanut butter should ALWAYS be crunchy.....never, ever smooth...then it becomes horrid

(actually, why not buy smooth for the kids, and crucnchy for yourself

PurplePillow · 13/03/2010 12:00

Oh god I was going to make tuna pasta for lunch but all I can think about now is peanut butter toast (and yea asda's is the best)

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 13/03/2010 12:09

My breakfast was delicious - peanut butter on seedy-bread toast. Yum yum yum!!

BalloonSlayer - you can nip round here, and I'll make you as many slices of peanut butter toast as you can eat (or at least, until the jar is empty).

lou031205 · 13/03/2010 12:51

What is it with thoughtless insensitive threads lately?

SwissCheeseIsHolyCheesus · 13/03/2010 13:33

Do you have a recipe for the peanut butter biscuits, SwissCheese? They sound rather nice!

A friend of mine makes a kind of rocky road, with melted chocolate, crunchy peanut butter, mini marshmallows and biscuit fragments etc (I add walnuts, sultanas and cherries) - it is a very low-calorie snack, and terribly healthy, and can be eaten in large quantities with no problems at all!

DavidHD - I am afraid that wishy-washy liberal parenting such as yours rarely works.

SwissCheeseIsHolyCheesus · 13/03/2010 14:26

Nope, can't ask my mum she's not here anymore

They were like a chewy, oaty biscuit, jus make those and stick some peanut butter in

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 13/03/2010 16:15

I'm sorry to hear that, SwissCheese.

In a few minutes, I'm going to go and make some of the peanut butter tiffin my friend makes. I might come back here and share....

TheLadyEvenstar · 13/03/2010 17:55

I just tried a new recipe....licking the peanut butter off a knife works very well!!!

OMG! Peanut butter is the work of the devil. Only person in this house that eats it is my Brother.

oopsandbabycoconut · 13/03/2010 18:02

I suggest PB and golden syrup on hot thick toast - yummmy.

BUT I am PG and have been told to avoid it - YOU ARE VERY MEAN TLES

TheLadyEvenstar · 13/03/2010 18:30

OK I am going to put myself out here just for those of you who cannot have PB..................................................................

I SHALL BUY A JAR FOR EACH OF YOU AND EAT IT MYSELF HAHAHAHAHAHA

TheLadyEvenstar · 13/03/2010 18:34

Peanut butter and honey sandwiches... yuummmm.

msbossy · 13/03/2010 18:38

babycoconut -just go ahead and eat it! I got food poisoning at 8 wks pg and couldn't face anything but toast. Decided after 2 wks that the protein in the pb was better than nothing!

runnybottom · 13/03/2010 18:39

He has to steal........you keep hiding it on him!
Tis all your all fault, Lady!
