It's one of those Innocent Veg pots - Daal curry one. I haven't had any breakfast yet.

And I'm poorly

YANBU.I'd be doing the same if I had one.

How was it?

StephysFamous · 08/03/2010 11:07

YANBU!
But left over curry from the night before is even better.

JackSpratt · 08/03/2010 11:07

Yes as its a good one.

I draw the line at last nights congealed chicken tikka masala though.

BattyKoda · 08/03/2010 11:09

Tis yummy - feeling a bit like a student now though!

Mind you I am dreaming of the fishcake left overs

As a sandwich
With gerkins mustard and mayo

So I shouldn't really venture an opinion.

BessieBoots · 08/03/2010 11:10

Oooooh I really fancy some congealed chicken tikka masala now!

When I spent some time in Sri Lanka, it was normal for us to have curry each breakfast at 7am. The chilli hit really does wonders for your morning endorphins and the meal is so filling for the rest of the day. Enjoy!

I'll have to try it. I love dahl.

There are few things better in life than eating left over takeaway that's just out of the fridge.

amber1979 · 08/03/2010 11:21

Perfectly reasonable.

Kedgeree (sp?) is a traditional breakfast dish - very last days of the Raj lol.

It curried rice, smoked fish and boiled eggs - lovely!

tortoiseonthehalfshell · 08/03/2010 11:22

I ate chili tom yum noodle soup as a hangover cure well into my twenties as breakfast. Worked great; carbs plus chili plus fat, perfect breakfast. I think dahl sounds brilliant.

DramaInPyjamas · 08/03/2010 11:28

Last nights left-over chicken curries are the best breakfasts ever. Cold, not heated up though.

My mother was a superb indian cook, after a dinner party we always ate chicken biryanis the following morning with skewered lamb, salad and lots of mint yoghurt.
