to think that anyone getting 35k into debt for a degree in advertising is bonkers?

Was speaking to a friend whose son is just completing a degree in advertising and has 35k of debt.

WHAT IS THE POINT OF THAT?

How can that possibly be worth it?

ADVERTISING?

All degrees now lead to that level of debt.

There isn't really much we students can do.

I personally get a £3000 tuition fee loan per year. That goes straight to uni.
Then I get £3000 loan to pay for living. My accommodation costs over £3000 a year.

Where does my money for food, travel, clothes, socialising, bills, dental costs or prescription costs come from?

My minimum wage job. Of which I get taxed 20%

Hopefully my degree isn't deemed as worthless by you all!

my mate did a degree in advertising and marketing years and years ago, she's got a fab job now in somethine to do with online advertising

DH used to be a triple jumper years ago. Wreaks havoc on your body. You must be lovely and fit though.
