I have a few hours alone today (hooray!!!) and was really wanting to go and see Precious at the cinema, but have no one to go with, so would I look a right pud sat there alone?

Glad you enjoyed it. I went to see the last Harry Potter on my own after a shit day at work! Cheered me right up. It's so relaxing to be absorbed - the big screen, surround-sound, no interruptions, no DP going 'Why did he do that, isn't he the chap from the beginning?'

Oh enjoy! It's a long time since I've been to the cinema on my own - if I see someone alone I'm always blardy jealous!

Not at all - I do it whenever I can (Wolfman last week) - it's one of my few pleasures in life! (enhanced by my Pret sandwich which sadly, is also a treat these days)

What did you see? Any good?

I go to the cinema on my own all the time. Sit away from everyone, take a cushion, hand cream and a big drink and just soak it all in without someone asking me the plot - bliss!

They should give single cinema tickets out in those Bounty bags!
