Not to carry a handbag

I have never ever carried a handbag - i would only bloody lose it im sure.

Why do you need one? I have pockets in my jeans, purse in one, keys in other, phone in one of them. Probably really unsafe for keys in pockets though.

But why do women feel they need to carry around bloody great holdalls? with their life in them? Then there is the wee bag that can't fit much in anyway - WHY????

I don't get it- i am assuming that as i seem to be in the minority of one, that i am some sort of freak

I use a handbag.....would be lost without one TBVH.

I have to have one big enough for my current book of choice, so I have many different size handbags. plus my purse is big and really would not fit in any of my pockets.

and then there is the obligatory crap that I need on a day-to-day basis......bribes incentives for the children while shopping if they are with me, medication I am on for asthma, check book for the odd time I need one (not often nowadays, but if I didn;t have it you would guarantee I would need it!), a bottle of water.....always need a drink when out, mobile, keys, gloves and hat for chilly days.....etc etc

my bag weighs a tonne, maybe I should get used to pockets after all.....

I love my handbag but that is only because I love to have something for every eventuality - however since I stopped smoking I really don't need one when I go out.... a bit of cash, a cash card, a lipgloss, phone and keys. Done! Have since discovered that if I have my handbag my husband puts his phone, wallet and keys in it!

YANBU - although sometimes it is useful to have one and sometimes it isn't!

If I didn't have a bag I would lose stuff in the transfer between different pockets in different clothes.

YANBU but nor is it U for others to rely on one, just depends how much stuff you carry around & what suits your life
