to leave all the washing/tidying up and play on COD like my DP does every night

Every night I clean up after cooking dinner, sort toys out, organise for next day whilst DP sits glued to his PS3. He's out tonight the kids are in bed, I'm tempted to ignore everything and have a go myself... and conveniently be still sat on it when he comes back to a s**thole

Well if he's allowed a night off, why aren't you?
Go for it!

ChickandDuck · 05/02/2010 20:38

YANBU, but you'll be disappointed. I don't really understand the appeal.

My DP is playing street fighter instead of CoD for a change.

I'd suggest leaving the washing up/tidying and going for a long soak in the bath with a book and a glass of wine instead.

I match him at his own game and have spent many a fun evening on MN - it's a bit like COD only more violent lol

I can't play first person shooters, they make me dizzy - DH loves COD.

I have been known to spend all day a few hours on Tomb raider though , I quite fancy myself as Lara Croft but I have neither the legs nor the baps.

He doesn't know it yet, but I'm taking DH to a gun ranch in Vegas as a surprise, he will wet himself with excitement, he hasn't fired a gun since his military days, he still reckons he could strip an uzi in 30 seconds flat!

ChickandDuck · 05/02/2010 22:15

Well I got it on, but have since been distracted with DS2 .... as per other thread!! Gah!

Oh my god my DH and I have just had this argument the whole day! YA Very NBU!
I started back at work this week and today was my first full day while he stayed at home with our DDs. He claimed they were a nightmare and he coudlnt tidy up/do dishes/ sort clothes as DD2 was clingy.

Felt an ounce of guilt he'd had a bad day until his brother fessed they had both been playing COD all day and DD1 was relegated to watch cbeebies in our room.

Best comment of the night was regarding the washing - 'but I just expect you to do that anyway'
Shame Iv just mixed his whites and the kids colours isnt it???
