DH came in from work last night and went down and asked the ned to turn the music down.
Ned in question said ok , then did sweet FA.
DH went back down and got hold of neds older brother , he must have done something to the stereo because the music hasnt been back on.
I was really stressed last night , kept thinking odd thoughts about how i could get the music off.(as in walk into their house and bash the stereo with a chair ).
.
Its shocking how many people have similar problems with neighbours.

I live in a terraced house, in between TWO neighbours who like their music LOUD. And at very unsociable hours. As does the rest of the street, but it doesn't affect me directly in winter, although in the summer, even the music from 3 doors down vibrates my pictures. I've given up keeping diary sheets and complaining as my HA won't do anything as they say I'm the only one who complains. Mostly because I'm the only one in the street that thinks that playing music so loud it vibrates your neighbours house after midnight/ 1.30am/ 3am on a school night is unreasonable. . The police do nothing either. I'm saving for a deposit to go private rented. Five years of it and I can't stand much more....

One of my friends who was ACROSS THE ROAD actually sold her house and moved away because the music and rows were disturbing HER children...

the one and only advantage to private renting, IMO, is that you can move away from neighbours like this relatively easily.
