...me liking some things in the Boden catalogue?!

I've always avoided Boden for all sorts of reasons (mostly because it seems a bit "middle class mummy" to me). This morning, however, an unsolicited catalogue arrived. I just glanced through it and found myself thinking that I quite liked quite a lot of the clothes.

Is there some sort of subliminal "Boden is good" message in the threads on here?

Have I been swayed by peer culture?

I'm still laughing at 'Captain Von Trapp's curtains...'.

When I got home there was a letter for me, from Ocado. It was advising to shop at Boden and get £10 off. For heaven's sake - it's relentless. I can feel the noose tightening...

I never got Boden, but did recently get trousers for dd and they are fab, I got them 2nd hand on ebay though, does it still make me terribly middle class.

BelleDameSansMerci · 06/02/2010 08:18

Yes Wonderstuff, I'm afraid so

I'd love to be middle class! Everyone thinks I am because I sound quite "posh" and have a very good job but I'm really working class with a huge chip on my shoulder. Perhaps that's my dilemma? I might think I'm not good enough for Boden?

I had an unsolicited catalogue through the door yesterday too. Had a quick flick through, gagged at the description 'lemon curd daisy' and gave it to the baby to chew.

Am I mixing up my mumsnet messages - BLW, Boden, it's all too confusing......
