to think people are really naive to feel sorry for Peter Andre and not realise it was probably a total set up?

That question about his kids Kay asked was almost certainly run past his agent a few times...

It gave him carte blanche to shed a few 'tears' and get max coverage AND get people to feel sorry for him. Kerchiing!

After the marriage Pete's management would've been desperate to wheel him out for some extra sympathy. He couldn't say he was upset over Katie, so the kids were his next best bet.

And it's worked hasn't it ?!

If you watch the K&P show closely you'd see Pete is by far and away not an innocent party. He could be v emotionally abusive and in RL is apparently not v nice either. Also he often sanctimoniously says: 'I don't want to slag off the mother of my children...' before launching into her on film and in print.

He is definitely NOT the nice guy in all this. Incredible that people can't see it.

When his 15 extra post marriage minutes are over he'll be back to being seen as the perma-tanned strumpet that he is...

no. I feel sorry for him. Have you ever been through an horrendous breakup where residency of children and step children is up in the air? Do you imagine that being media savvy and ambitious is mutually exclusive with being a loving dad. Because I don't think it is. I watched that video and he was poked with a sharp stick by kay burley for 8 minutes but he did NOT trash Jordan. He didn't even come close to it. The one thing that upset him was Dwight York's ridiculous comments about it being 'disrespectful' to love, adopt and care for a child that PA clearly does love.

You are being VERY unreasonable. It is possible to be media savvy, ambitious AND to have children that you love and want to protect.

cornsilk, listen to the video again, he knew they had a comment from dwight york, but not WHAT the comment was. he also didn't know that kay burley was going to poke a stick at him for 8 minutes solid. she was like a dog with a bone.

Pete's management would've got a say on the cover line of the NOTW mag. It will all be carefully orchestrated...

Also that question Kay posed was utterly ridiculous. How on earth could Reid adopt the kids when Pete is their natural father..?

Pete can turn on the tears like a leaking tap...

Not cynical, just realistic.

Oh please he can't be faulted, so he does interviews and why shouldn't he?

Katie is a media whore, she knew her popularity is fading fast and had to do something about it, so she married Alex, Pete does not need to make 'stuff' up for sympthy-she does, Pete Does not sell everything for money. Pete is a great dad, rarely see her with the kid's etc.......

She is Pathetic.

Seriously, I don't particularly like KP either.

But PA exudes a particular kind of nasty subtly abuse IMO.

and it's such a pity people are too dumb or naive to see it.

And for someone whose 'all abaaht the kids' he really slates their mum royally.

All I know is that Andre probably needs to take some advice right now, on how to not keep looking like a dickhead. Why does he keep doing those adverts for exclusives in the red-tops where he pretends not to talk about his ex. He needs to move on!

He decided right at the beginning of this 'split' how is was going to play it and boy is he playing it!

If I hear him say 'I dont like talking about it' one more time as he IS BLOODY TALKING ABOUT IT I may loose my reason.

Not got much to say here on top of what everyone else has said other than just a really big sigh of relief as i was genuinely beginning to think i was the only one who thought he's a manipulative twat. I've had disagreements with quite a few poeple in RL over this too. Everyone thinks he's so fucking perfect and can do no wrong!

I think the last few minutes of the interview were extremely unprofessional on the interviewers part.

What sort of research is the question about Alex taking/claiming/adopting his children based upon? Does she have any children of her own?

She fucked that up royally in my opinion and the only person coming out of it looking like a fuckwit was the woman doing the interview.

They are both stupid selfish crap people who keep acting stupid selfish and crap...if either of them really cared about their kids they wouldn't live their entire lives in the eye of the media constantly giving interviews about their lives.

If a dad being upset is news then please can we list the other thousands of dads currently upset by their ex remarrying or access to the kids.

but... he went on there to talk about his album and although he aknowledged that people would be interested in the privet life of Katie Price and his reactions to it, it was still hugely unfair to ask him the question she did about Reid adopting his children. There was no point to it other than to be controversial and get a story.

He didn't go on the show being upset, it was sprung apon him and the news is not his reaction but the fact that she was dumb and stupid and crass enough to ask that kind of question in that kind of interview.

It is she we should be questioning, not him!

Completely agree - she kept going even after he was upset and then had the cheek to say she didn't mean to upset him!
