to ask a question and not be flamed about the victims

I can't imagine I could do it on the thread in the news topic, so will try here.

I have read the thread about the boys who nearly killed 2 others(or was it 3) and have a question....
will the victims get support. or will their poor parents have to fight like mad fo everything?

good to here they hopefully are getting help now, hope they will have the same level later in life

youwillnotwin - I really hope that's true.

The tiny bit I read about them didn't sound so promising.

I hate the fact that we can be so upset that something like this can happen, can feel compassion, but can fear (with some justification,) that support may be not fully delivered, because we know how stretched these services are.

I hate the fact that they may have to fight for it in the future.

Like you, I really hope it works in both cases.
