The latest email from bridesmaid #2 says I know I've got a brilliant idea how about "apocalyse paintball"? Errr, how about not ....I just want to scream "Noooooooooooooo!"

small talk with a group of people most of whom I've never met

staying over and no sleep then back home to deal with the havoc wreaked by DH and toddler (twice as much havoc as normal)

It's my SIL's so I can't even get out of it.

YANBU. The drunken L Plate ones are dreadful, especially if you encounter them as an innocent passer-by.

For my friend's hen night, we had the most awesome time (champagne, cupcakes and nibbles in her flat, then karaoke, followed by pizza), but at the karaoke place there was another hen night group, going through all the karaoke booths trying to find men. FFS.
