instead of continually rushing to switch the heating on?
It is January. Surely a sensible choice of clothing would be long sleeve t-shirt and / or a shirt with a good thick woolly jumper? Not a short sleeved t-shirt and a cotton, summer-weight jumper, in which (to quote) it is 'a bit chilly'? For a clever man, it seems to me that he displays an alarming lack of common sense.
It's driving me nuts . I'm psyching myself up to Say Something. Psyching is required because saying something is going to constitute nagging and I need to be prepared for the backlash. I also need to be prepared for the inevitable retort of 'Well, maybe I should just leave a good selection of assorted jumpers around the house to choose from?' (This, by the way, is the sensible solution adopted by my very good self. As my jumper needs vary throughout the day I consider it prudent to have wide variety at my immediate disposal. However, when buying a new jumper or cardigan I do draw the line at considering which will look nicest draped over the chair in the hall along with all the others, which DH suggested ought to be the basis of my selection criteria )
So - unreasonable to think DH ought to wear seasonally appropriate clothing? Or am I a stinge bag for not wanting to put the heating on?
