now don't get me wrong, I am not sorry to have given up working f/t and to have gone freelance in order to be a SAHM.
I am not sorry to be married, or to have been with my dp for the last 10 years
I am not sorry to have met the other women I've met through becoming parent, nor to partake of the wit and wisdom that is Mumsnet

BUT

GOD I miss bantering with blokes. Yes, sometimes mildly flirty, a bit of innuendo, a bit of Monday morning Premiership chat ... just a different perspective, a different dynamic - I MISS IT!!

This is making me feel better about going back to work after maternity with dd2.

I love a bit of harmless flirting and having a laugh. It makes me feel like myself and not just a mum!

Best night out I've had recently was a leaving do for a guy I used to work with - 12 guys, me and another girl. The dynamic worked so well - no sitting bitching, just really funny, smutty, no holds barred chat.
