YABU- I have never been so insulted.

juneybean · 09/01/2010 17:14

It's all for attention innit?

DarrellRivers · 09/01/2010 17:16

YABVU and a little mean
It is nice to say farewell, and then when you return you have to come back really quietly hoping no-one notices you, or remembers that you publicly flounced
People behave a lot worse on mn than a public flounce

AnyFucker · 09/01/2010 17:17

who has flounced this week ?

expatinscotland · 09/01/2010 17:17

Who's off?

What did I miss whilst I was trawling soup bowls and sundae glasses on Ebay out of utter boredom?

DarrellRivers · 09/01/2010 17:18

lissielou on a nearby thread
anyone else?

KimiLovesHerFamily · 09/01/2010 17:18

LOL

I love it when people flounce then return with a name change a few days/weeks/months later.

Everyone should be allowed a good flounce now and then

juneybean · 09/01/2010 17:18

Only one new thread this year anyfucker/expat

MollyRoger · 09/01/2010 17:19

well, when I left MN I felt that just leaving after 5 years felt reqally rude, like abruptly leaving a party without saying goodbye and thank you for having me to the host.....so I did start a thread. but once I had gone, I didn't come back and lurk.
so therefore BALDY, imo, YABU.
But I love you anyway.

expatinscotland · 09/01/2010 17:20

Oh, OK.

YABU, BALD.

But right now I am looking at bookends.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 09/01/2010 17:21

awww Molly

IABU then, yes? and should wind neck in?

Cybils · 09/01/2010 17:22

I withdrew into my shell like a salted snail for a bit, after a mini word to those who I chatted to a lot. But not a flounce. Then I came back

Morloth · 09/01/2010 17:55

No no, I love a good flounce. Especially with hair flicking and door slamming!

What really cracks me up are all the people who beg flouncers to stay, suckers they whole point of a flounce is to get everyone to beg you to stay.

I get bored/annoyed with boards sometimes and wander off for a while. Makes you look like a knob if you have a big dramatic flounce and then coming back.

Hullygully · 09/01/2010 17:57

Yes

diddl · 09/01/2010 18:00

If I left it would never occur to me that strangers on the internet would expect me to say goodbye!

Mamazon · 09/01/2010 18:00

of course they are attention seeking. that the point.

what's the point of a flounce if no one notices??

MadameDefarge · 09/01/2010 18:08

Why am I not surprised to see Hully mock-flouncing? Hmm?

flouncing is your specialite, non? though most from halls and villas, not MN.

BitOfFun · 09/01/2010 18:11

Oh I think that it's nice to say goodbye if you are off for a while. It doesn't need to be all stroppy.

The best flounce ever was a full toys-out-of-the-pram job though- Twigglet's. Look where that ended up

Morloth · 09/01/2010 18:13

What is especially grim/funny is when someone does a proper flounce and there is resounding silence except from the one really nice board member who just can't help themselves.

Now that must sting.

flouncing is so vain.as if anyone really cares.

ChilloSTOPFOLLOWINGMEhippi · 09/01/2010 18:22

Bye then.

scottishmummy · 09/01/2010 18:24

often feel compelled to reply "do bog off then"

Hullygully · 09/01/2010 18:25

I still play for a first division team - but don't want to out myself..
