it's 1.48am, i was just about to turn off the laptop when partner comes in (he certainly isnt dear now!) from a night out he's been on, and says "i only came home to get drink...bye!" i couldnt even speak i was so miffed! I'm supposed to be going out tomorrow to my brothers, I have barely been out the house in a month as my DS suffered an suspected asthma attack before xmas and have't felt comfortable taking him out in the cold weather.

How in gods name is he going to look after him if he's still pished which he will be! i tried to call him to tell him to get his arse back home but his phones turned off.

Oh no, how inconsiderate! How old is your DS?

mummysgoingmad · 09/01/2010 02:03

14 months, he's into everything..needless to say needs a lot of watching

Oh yes, I know that stage, my DS is 15 months

TBH I'd be tempted to go anyway and try not to worry. He will be fine and your DP will have a rotten time due to his hangover, and maybe think twice next time he decides to go out drinking the night before he is "on duty".

Hangover or not I am sure he would not let him hurt himself and any mess, he can deal with!

what a selfish pig!! I'm 34 weeks pregnant with my first and am going to be a single Mum as I was unceremoniously dumped when I discovered I was expecting and when I hear stories like this it makes me realise maybe it's not so bad going it alone!!!

You'd think he would have had more than enough by that time of the morning without feeling the need to go back out!

mummysgoingmad · 09/01/2010 14:17

to add insult to injury i've just found 50quid that he tried to hide (not very well as it flew out of a cupboard when i opened the door) i'm going out anyway. Fuck him! i'm so angry i could burst, i've got enough going on right now without add his selfish behaviour to the list.

The original action in itself isn't selfish imho as he was on a night out and you were about to go to bed anyway so what difference does it make?
if however it means he's going to shirk his responsibilities and fuck up your plans the following day that is not on.
