even though my uni is shut?

I cant stand being locked away with them for any longer! They have totally trashed the house and worn me out.

they have to have the right ratio of staff to children so may have to call on staff who might not have come in..... but Im going crazy and need to get everything straight without them being under my feet.

they havent been in to any of their other sessions this week.

I feel a bit guilty.

YANBU, irrelevant about the staff IMO, thats their problem - send the chidren even for reduced hours and then you will all have a much nicer weekend once you have got your head and house straight.

I'm sending my dd2 (age 4) and I'm not working today because my dd1 (aged 10) is ill so I'm decluttering my attic and it's going to be so much easier if dd2 is at nursery where she will have children to play with and less risk of catching what dd1 has got.

CMOTdibbler · 08/01/2010 08:48

YANBU - you need a rest Charlotte

missmapp · 08/01/2010 08:49

Repeat to yourself

routine is very important,

This is how I ease the guilt when I send my dc's to nursery during the school holidays ( im a teacher)

ProfYaffle · 08/01/2010 08:50

If I could get to nursery I'd be packing dd2 off but it's based on a farm about a mile up a single, ungritted, track with ditches on either side. Am very of you!

im going to attempt it in the car first.... if that fails the we will have to walk.

I do feel like im about to crack up and waas rather hoping for a bath and an hour back in bed before tackliing the shit hole we call home.

Send them, send them, I can totally relate to how you feel and you need a break. And they'll have fun there.

Hando · 08/01/2010 09:22

Plus, I bet you're paying for it anyway, whether they go or not!

Bet there'll have more fun there with the other kids then at home if you're overtired and need some time to relax. Then you can have a nice crazy weekend in the snow and you'll have a nice tidy house and be all chilled out.

spookycharlotte121 · 08/01/2010 10:14

Lol they were so relieved to get there. No tears or tantrums from either and I even got a kiss from ds! REsult!

I now have 6 hours to myself. Think im going to run and bath then clean up the house

I dont pay for it... my uni do! Although im still having a few issues with that at the mo so maybe i will sort that out in my free time. Its so nice to just sit and not be haassled.
