I mean, the kids are back at school and therefore in bed early - and its on NOW - there was hardly anything on the telly that DD would have enjoyed over xmas (we missed the gruffalo) and they put this onw NOW

Also, who is the voice of the beaver? is that Bob hoskins?

The dawntreader is my favourite, followed by the magicians's nephew. I thought Jardis was great in that.
I hated CS Lewis for his snide comments re Susan though and her getting into boys and make up and not being "worthy" of visiting Narnia once she was a teenager. Not read his biography so not sure if he had "issues" with adult women but it sounds as though he could only cope with little girls.

i always read it as she stopped believing in narnia, thats why she couldn't come rather than because she was into boys etc.
