Even though DP is home tomorrow so we get some time alone, i do feel sad - she is in reception, but she still seems so young. We had great fun today "geocaching" although it didn't curtail the "mummy my legs hurt" wailing and i ended up shoulder carrying her through the woods in the snow - we didnt find the cache, but we did manage a 6" snowman

DD is bored actually, needs to go back, been drivng me nuts - but i felt really choked when i was ironing her school stuff tonight - im a wuss aren't i

Quite happy for DS to be back at school, not so keen on the getting up and out in the mornings though.

started yesterday 5foot5, found one near home today though DP not impressed, he says its a bit suspicious - well i was poking around peoples back fences!!

I will have to go back to work soon - i remember too well the horrible feeling you get when you go back

Yes, must admit am looking forward to having a clean house - although that is more due to DP than DD!!!!!

Stoptalking, I'm with you on this on. My DD actually can't wait to get back to school tmrw, but then again she has been off faor what seems like an age - school broke off on 18th Dec. Just want to get some normality back in our lives lol, so I'm looking forward to tmrw.

StopTalking - I feel your pain - FWIW mine are 7 and 3 and this holiday was way better than any previous one. They did start off squabbling constantly but sometime between Christmas and New Year they morphed into best buddies - who, other than weekends, will now get about an hour a day in each other's company a week (well, plus one whole day a week during DS's holidays) until DH and I can next take holiday . I am relishing the relative peace of being at work today, but on balance will miss them being around more than I will enjoy the sanity, IYSWIM.

Well, she has gone back this am - and i feel lost I actually have loads to do (the tax return being one of those things - poo!) and the house it a tip, but it is so SILENT, i'm almost tempted to switch on Cbeebies

We did have a lovely day yesterday but DP and DD both gone back today and im LONELY!!
