To expect my nieghbour's cats to bury their poo neatly like my parent's cat does ?

Instead of dumping on my lawn?

It's disgusting! Mum and dad's cat digs a nice little hole in the flower bed, poos in it then covers it up with earth. She's so neat!

I know IABU but what can I do that dosn't involve nasty chemicals.I want a dd proof method.

I'd rather not spend £££ on one of those sonic things but is it the only way?

That would explain something.

My parents' cat is terrorised by a ginger cat so she dosn't want it to know she's a bout.

Trouble is, said ginger cat is a tom.

There's a local cat who uses one area of my front lawn as a loo without burying the poo. VERY irritating - although I don't quite resort to the retaliation mentioned in another thread of throwing it back into the owner's garden! Have heard they don't like washing up liquid - but whether squirted on the ground or on the miscreant cat I'm not sure!

I have two neutered female cats. The older, more dominant one buries her poo neatly. The younger, subservient one (she is not a kitten though, she is nine) sort of half-buries hers. It's more like she's just not very good at burying than anything else. Incidentally, both my cats shit in my garden, as do several of the neighbouring cats - it is a myth that having your own cat means you don't get poo in your garden, arrrrrrgh!

Apparently water scarecrows are supposed to be good for keeping cats away, this is the sort of thing.

YABU, cats rule the world as we all know.

Try putting orange peel in the flower beds, cats hate it.

A neighbours cat once pooed on the bonnet of our car. V.unpleasant but also quite impressive.

Orange peel deters cats? My MIL's cat eats oranges! Mind you, she eats anything, so that might not mean much...
