I have a long history of problems with my MIL, she causes no end of problems for us. I have not added her to my own facebook as been burned too many times.
However she saw on my DH facebook that I have a new friend (MNetter) who she messaged asking if she knew me, and telling her she was my MIL!!
I emailed her and said my friend was a little confused about why she had had an email about me from her. She replied "I wasnt talking to you"!!!

I have asked my DH to delete me from his FB

Im now considering blocking her from my FB, but i know the HUGE reaction this will create. Shall i set up a fake FB and add her to that? then block her from ever seeing me real FB?

I think it just needs some education of DH not to post anything about OP, because what he posts is clearly readable...

It is surely possible to communicate with SIL via e-mail, and forget flippin FB altogether if it means MIL can 'stalk' who you are friendly with.

I know FB seems like the greatest thing since sliced bread (to some) but it can also be the cause of all sorts of unpleasantness.
