I am just too tired to argue with my 2 year old about clothing when I have been up all night breastfeeding my newborn. She has benn watching cbeebies all day too. I am officially a bad mother. Oh well. Lunchtime. Sausage roll and fruit shoot?

I got dressed to take ds to nursery & have now collected him & got changed back into my pjs & fluffy dressing gown (i do have the lurgy though)

Snort, entire days go by here during the holidays when nobody bothers getting dressed. Happened all the time when DS was a toddler.

RichardCranium · 14/12/2009 12:16

Of course not.

I'd be in my pyjamas if I didn't have so much stuff to do (she says sat in front of the laptop).

my ds is still in his PJs - and so am I! 4 sleepless nights due to illness and we ain't getting dressed! If the post arrives with a delivery I'm expecting, they willbe faced with a pyjama'd woman in a big jumper and socks!
If dd is happy in her pjs why not - last week my ds3 spent a whole day in his PJs (also 2yrs) beaue he refused to get dressed and I couldn't see the harm tbh!

traceybath · 14/12/2009 12:17

we're all in pj's. Ds1 broke up from school last week and we're having a quiet day.

I'm doing chores and boys making xmas cards in front of fire - lovely.

DS aged 4 is still in pjs! Poorly boy

AmazingBouncingFerret · 14/12/2009 12:19

My theory is if im not going anywhere why waste the clean clothes. Less washing for me plus very economical. So therefore YANBU the people that get their kids changed into fresh clothes when theres no need are though!

shivster1980 · 14/12/2009 12:22

YANBU I am jealous of the PJs but not the sleep deprivation.

Poledra · 14/12/2009 12:23

I hate being in my PJs but, if you like it, there's no reason not to do as you please. My equivalent is not putting my contact lenses in

McDreamyingofawhiteXmas · 14/12/2009 12:26

Oh how lovely Tracey!

MeltedTreeChocolates · 14/12/2009 12:27

I think the word you are looking for here is 'meh' with a healthy

ButterPie · 14/12/2009 12:29

I'm dressed, as my pjs were covered in milk and baby vomit. I think I may dress the toddler, just so i can dump her on her granparents for a bit. Baby is still young enough to be just popped in a clean babygrow.

Not at all U. I don't have any pajama's which makes life interesting if we have visitors. If I did I would probably spend days in them. This has me thinking now, maybe Fr Xmas will bring me some.

nannynobnobs · 14/12/2009 13:09

My dds regularly spend entire days in their PJs at the weekends. I imagine the coming Christmas holidays will be mostly spent in nightwear too.
Traceybath how did you manage to have school broken up already?! My DD1 doesn't finish till Friday and I could really do with not walking 8 miles every day this week for the school run!
