So as not to AIBU by stealth here is my situation.

Today is DH's 32nd birthday. Unwritten rule is that on his birthday he can do whatever he wants to do. WHich today has involved going out for a ride this morning with his mate (who is 30 soemthing today as well) and then go into town and get paralytic.
We agreed to get take out tonight so I didn't eat with the girls earlier.

He called me at 5 to ask me to pick him up half an hour later.
I got there at half 5 to be told he would be 10 more minutes. DD's in back of car. I told him to get stuffed and went to drive home but DD's started crying and wailing so I did a big loop and went back to the pub.

He was outside, completely ignorant of the fact that I had told him to get stuffed and proceeded to get in the car with a goofy smile and comdey drunkard hiccups.

Got home to DD1 trying to show him his cake (that she made all by herself) but he could barely walk.
He ahs just thrown up (out of the back door, thank god) and I have put him to bed.
I helped him remove his jacket, boots and jeans and in doing so have nicked found his wallet, ten quid in change and his fags.

My choices are

To make a jacket potato or soemthing and sit quietly in front of the telly on my own all night.
To use the cash to order a small chinese, but have to pay delivery as it will be a low value order.
Or use the card to buy a pizza. For me. Not for him. And leave the box out for him to see tomorrow when he wakes up looking like something shat in his mouth and then died.

So AIBU?

I will smoke or hide all his fags though, so he can't have on when he wake sup hungover

Poor DD1 was so depserate for him to see his cake I cam down from putting DD2 to bed (she fell asleep in the car) to find her trying to poke him awake to see it.

So I cut her a slice anyway
He has another cake from me so he'll live!

I usually phone my order into domino pizza...they take card numbers and three digit code on the back...no password. You could try that!!

geordieminx · 09/12/2009 19:16

It should give you an option to change the passwork if its one of those verified by visa things

JackTheHallsWithBauersOfHolly · 09/12/2009 19:17

Yes, am ordering online.
I've ordered it on mine, even better really as then he won't know how much it cost or what I ordered.
Am really quite ridiculously pleased he is conked out as he won't have veg on a pizza, and hates onions, so we always have pepperoni passion, and I have ordered a full house! And coleslaw! and chicken things!

I don't want to change his password though, that is a bit much I think!

How are you paying for it?

JackTheHallsWithBauersOfHolly · 09/12/2009 19:50

On my card. Have money but it was earmarked for fuel, so he can buy the fuel instead.

I have teh regrets now though

We just had Dominos, did you use the £10 voucher code?

I think your thread inspired me. DS was screaming all afternoon and I couldn't put him down to make dinner. Have DH's card details and know his verified by visa password, so ordered pizza. I think seeing how exasperated I looked when he came in, he didn't dare question it.

JackTheHallsWithBauersOfHolly · 09/12/2009 21:16

VOucher code?!

Damn!

Check www.moneysavingexpert.com and go to the restaurant vouchers bit. There is a code for £10 off orders over £25. Think it's good till 20th December.

~Ooh thanks, will bookmark that, my order was only 12 quid though!
