...especially if they've got little skid marks in because you've not wiped your DC's bum properly?

Am naming no names.

Pants (regardless of the age of the wearer) are for daily changing. Fact.

sunburntats · 02/12/2009 17:43

errr, i thought that every one did, GASP does some one on here not???

filthy beasts, what did the police say, i presume you have phoned them to report this disgusting behaviour???

MrsMerryHenry · 02/12/2009 17:45

I've contacted the PM, actually, to pass an Act of Parliament. This disgusting behaviour should be tackled in the Law Courts.

well, that's an interesting one because...

No, just kidding (that's me on a different thread ) Of course! Doesn't everyone change their pants every day now.

Knows that a close relation of mine (older) didn't use to before he married and was told by DW that he was uncivilised. Apparently every two days is fine in certain pockets of the north midlands

Eh Pants is for changing every day - or more than that depending on the type of day you're having. And esp is they are skiddy! Boak.

McSnail · 02/12/2009 18:00

And yes - pants should be changed every day.

HugeBaublesWhatDidISayRoy · 02/12/2009 18:06

who has the skid pants then? How do you know they have skid pants, have you been peeking?

EccentricaGallumbits · 02/12/2009 18:14

sweet jeezus why would anyone want to put back on the slightly smelly, slightly grubby previous days? ew ew ew. and to pass on your own filthy habits to your children is heinous indeed.

Hullygully · 02/12/2009 18:16

Nothing wrong with a bit of wear.

(Mrs MH you are in fine thread fettle today)

bellabelly · 02/12/2009 18:19

If they are VERY skiddy, they might be difficult to take off. Have you thought of that, eh?

AvrilH · 02/12/2009 18:30

Are you saying that your DH, Thierry Henry, thinks skid marks are nothing to worry about

HugeBaublesWhatDidISayRoy · 02/12/2009 18:34

Sacre Bleu

rumpleteaser · 02/12/2009 20:00

DanJARMouse · 02/12/2009 20:31

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

my family wear clean pants every day - who doesnt?! (other than non-potty trained babies and children)

Cicatrice · 02/12/2009 20:36

Clean pants or commando in this house!

NonnoMum · 02/12/2009 21:29

My pants (post babies) often need changing more than once a day... Ah, the dignity of motherhood...

LastTrainToNowhere · 02/12/2009 22:02

Yuck yuck yuck. Does someone actually do this? Straight road to a urinary tract infection, that is

I have always changed my pants every day, and since the birth of dd I change it at least twice a day.

CheerfulYank · 02/12/2009 22:17

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...

ChilloHippi · 02/12/2009 22:24

Urgh. I can't believe that anyone would wear the same undies for two days in a row.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 03/12/2009 08:18

. My dd would wear the same pair of pants for a week if she could get away with it. One pair are special in some way known only to her. They are attractive, white with multi coloured spots, but not in any way special IMO. Unfortunately for her, they are part of a multipack of girl shorts from H+M and aren't available anymore. We can only use the washingmachine once a week so unless she's prepared to wash them by hand she only wears them once a week. I have been known to take them off when she's asleep.

Stayingsunnygirl · 03/12/2009 09:22

Chez stayingsunny, everyone changes their underfugs daily (more often if needed - pelvic floor - what pelvic floor??). However, in certain bedrooms, it is normal to leave said underfugs on the floor to mature for several days before they undertake the long and arduous trip to the washing basket on the landing.

If I might ask a quick question - was I being unreasonable to be a little displeased when dh left his used boxer shorts draped over the towel I use to dry my hair, when he went for an extra shower one day? Said boxers were not dirty as such, but he'd worn them for a few hours, during which time he'd taken the dog for a walk, so sweating might have happened.

PotPourri · 03/12/2009 09:24

Ewwwww. The only time not to is if you are camping and it is freeeeeeeezing cold.
