I have been working 12+hrs a day for the past month 5 days a week and knackered

went to bed last night and got woken up at 7.38am by LOUD drilling and banging on our ajoining bedroom wall.

Obviously neighbours were doing DIY

aibu to expect a little bit of peace till 10am on weekends, or at least 9am and not be woken up at 7.38am [angry}

Frickin' hell.
YAsoNBU.

OK, so my DS thinks that 6am is civil, but he is only 2 FFS.

They are so out of order. Nothing very noisy before 9 at the weekends, personally.

I don't have children, but I do have a puppy. Have recently discovered what the outside world looks like at 6.30am, for the first time in my entire life.

Am planning to crate train any future children.

I'd so love children who slept 12 hours. I've got a friend with three and they've all slept 12 hours. Her three year old - best buddies with my DS2 - often sleeps more than 12 hours at night and takes himself off to bed if he needs a nap during the day. To say I am green with jealousy is an understatement. And she never sleep trained them either. It's just how they are.

Bangs sleepy head, knowing she really should go to bed ...
