The same is true of a food blender, lawnmower and hairdyer, many of which are used, um, near children. The trick is to keep their fingers OUT.

Agree - and I should clarify that what made me lol was not the idea that Americans are unintelligent, but rather the chutzpah of the Maclaren spokeperson in daring to imply that.
