Why? I don't get it?

Had four items on, 4 plus watchers on each and not one thing sold!

I think I just got too excited that I'd have some cash.

These people should go get another hobby than doing this pissing annoying thing!

I quite often watch things I'd like, even if the start price is higher than I'm prepared to pay. That way when they're re-listed for less, I get to know. I don't care if this is annoying, so YABU.

SpookyScattyKatty · 29/10/2009 15:30

Why should someone watch things? I'm watching 30 odd might bid on 1 or 2 but am watching a few to see the average price, some just cos I like them and want to see if they stay low etc

It's a free country FGS!

Stigaloid · 29/10/2009 15:52

YABU - i watch and sometimes forget i am watching until too late. Or i watch, it goes over what i was intending to spend so don't bid.

mloo · 29/10/2009 15:52

I also watch lots but rarely bid.
I bid very low very early because that's how I keep track of the items I am truly interested in; closer to the auction end time I'll figure out if I want it badly enough to raise my bid to something that will win it.

stakethroughtheheartofgold · 29/10/2009 15:53

i do it for many reasons, but mainly to annoy sellers.

stakethroughtheheartofgold · 29/10/2009 15:54

i also continue to watch after items have finished, that really winds em up...

oldraver · 29/10/2009 15:58

Yes I watch and forget. When I log in and see 'ended' I occasionaly think oh no but last night a coat for DS, I fancied had gone for £35 so I wasnt too fussed I missed it

Sassybeast · 29/10/2009 16:07

DH does it to guage how much he can put similar things on for

stubbornstains · 29/10/2009 16:43

I watched about 70 vans before I put a bid on one. Means I got a good idea of what to expect to pay....
