fill in the fixtures and fittings form that they have had for six weeks? All they have to do is tick boxes to say what they are taking or leaving in each room. How hard can that be?

It's the only thing standing between me and my new life as a separated parent. I can't wait to stop living in the same house as my almost ex-husband, it is driving me insane

YANBU - but if they're dragging their heels on something that straightforward it doesn't bode well...

You could tell them via the estate agent you're happy for them to say officially that they're taking everything but if there's anything they end up leaving, that's OK too?

Get your solicitor to contact them asap via their solicitor-there is no excuse for delay in this.If you have their number you can give them a cheery nudge yourself though I know this isnt recommended.

sounds like
a) they are dragging their feet (possibly the signs are all there that prices are rebounding)
OR
b) they have a solicitor who isn't keeping the process moving swiftly along
OR
c) your own solicitor isn't pushing hard enough

from experience, i've learned the hard way that you have to chase things along yourself in order to prevent the process grinding to a halt.

it's a frustrating process and particularly hard if you're not enjoying living where you are. hang in there.
