When she has no privacy settings and as far as I knew we haven't had a minor dispute never mind a row in months?
Is it her age? Should I pretend I haven't seen it or should I comment? Is it attention seeking? Should I mail her a link to this thread ?

I remember when i was 16 my mam telling me that around my friends i was really rude to her and it was like i was trying to be the big person in front of my friends...but my mam always called me out on it and embarrassed the hell out of me...Whether or not your dd friends are adding you as a wind up doesnt matter or not because you now have the inside view of what they are all gettingup too...im 27 and have a 2 yr old dd but my friend has a 15 yr old and she is on my fb and her mums fb, it is amazing how quickly they forget that you can see everything they write. If i were you i would have a quiet word with your dd and tell her that if you does not show you the respect you deserve things can very quickly turn badly for her..for example you can withdraw her privalages at any time, kids these day take things like internet for granted...let her know you hold all the cards as her mother you have the power make sure she knows it. At the same time try not to do it in a way that will put a distance between you both. My mum is my best friend i adore her she has always been my person..you know the one you can tell anything to but she has also always had my respect she has always been my parent first and my friend second. There is a fine line i think also it is so dangerous for your daughter not to have privacy settings and its your job to assure that she is as safe as can be while using the net...its terrifying being a mother, im just finding these things out ahhhhh....anyway best of luck xxxx
