...'The Sheath'?

It was over six weeks ago, and I was visited at home by the GP after the birth of DS. He enquired about birth control (being the fifth HCP to do so), and I told him we would be using condoms. 'Ah,' he said, 'the sheath'. DH and I couldn't even look at each other, and collapsed into giggles as soon as the GP left.

Every time I think about it, I still smirk/giggle a bit. AIBU?

Even worse: "Pop a sheath on the schlong"

Rossco · 22/10/2009 14:53

My dh calls them balloons .

When I was at school we called them Johnnies but don't hear that so much now.

LOL at schlong!

moondog · 22/10/2009 16:05

Howzabout 'sling a sheath over the ole schlong'?

(Aaargh, why am I torturing myself like this?/)

TanteRose · 22/10/2009 16:10

this reminds me - when I was at uni, I went for the MAP, and when I explained what had happened (condom coming off...) the doctor nodded sagely and said "Ah, yes. Sheath accident!"

GoppingOtter · 22/10/2009 19:50

tee hee at Dr Sheath

nearly as bad as ours.....Dr CockShoot!

NorbertDentressangle · 22/10/2009 20:23

Now theres a mised opportunity -Dr Cockshoot surely should've ended up specialising in the clap clinic Sexual Health field

GoppingOtter · 22/10/2009 20:29

i think he would be best suited to AI ....'collection' department Xmas Wink

GoppingOtter · 22/10/2009 20:29

...

YanknHeadsOffCocks · 22/10/2009 20:29

Well, the consensus seems to be that I'm not unreasonable to still be giggling about it.

Now I'm going to continue to giggle over 'schlong' and 'Dr Cockshoot'

My GP told me to keep some condoms with me at all times in case I ''got lucky''.

How I was going to do that as a single mum with a newborn was beyond me but it was nice of him to think of me!
