to get annoyed that Pampers just don't hold as well as Lidl or Tesco nappies?

I've always used Tesco or Lidl nappies on DS. They are fantastic, great value, soft and last the whole night through.

Last week i spotted pampers on offer at Tesco and grabbed 2 large packs. In the last 4 days, each time DS does a number 2, it leaks out the side of his nappy.

The amount of vests, socks and even shoes i've had to through into the washing mashing as a result is unreal.

I would have thought that these premium range nappies would have been more reliable???

Pampaers do so well because they have built their brand name. Price is not necessarily a reliable indicator of quality.

Now there's an area ripe for cost cutting. Local authorities which are tied into ridiculously expensive contracts for products they could easily get far far cheaper.

Pampers work very well for my DD except for the few times my DP hasn't put them on properly.

I absolutely loathe Pampers nappies, I have tried them with DS on many occasions, usually when they are on offer. I always end up running back to trusty Tescos or Lidl ones instead. Every single Pampers nappy I have used has leaked. Wee, poo - makes no difference. Different sizes, doing them up tighter or looser - they just seem really rubbish.
I love Tesco nappies, we have used them since DS was born and I'm not stopping now. What gets me is the price of things like Pampers etc. WHY would we pay that much for something so crap?

I love pampers nappies have used them with all three dc's have tried supermarket own from sainsburys and asda and found that they werent as good and leaked and just generally the pack doesn't last as long...for me anyway
