a HUGE glass of vino despite vowing to not drink this week

Hellish day started at 4.30am by my not so darling twin's. Thought school would make them more tired not hyper. They woke DD up too so very early start.

Had work meeting despite it being my day off which was a nightmare (my fault ).

Done a weeks worth of cleaning but house looks no different. Car failed MOT.

Picked up DCs from school and one twin has cut a massive chunk of his fringe off and it's their first school photo tomorrow

Cheers.

Oh i wanted to, I really did! Actually I think I was rather sanguine..I cleaned the floor with baby wipes and then practically bathed said child in the baby change, making the 5 year old strip off to give up his t-shirt to his brother (he had 2 on under his jumper). And then had to return to the bloody shop . Where they didn't have the thing I had reserved, so I had to run around sainsburys and then go across town to the other Argos before it closed. Where my credit card was declined and I didn't have any sterling cash.......

t'was a bad day all round. But the bucket of sauvignon is kicking in, and I'm pretending not to hear the kids calling for me as DH puts them to bed ......

Hi Bernadette - excellent, more drinkers...

Twintummy and Pooex - I can't believe that you both have 3 children, hats off to you both. Before I had my second I just used to look around the park and think, I've got one, she's got two - just double but must be easier second time. Now I know...it's a multiple of everything and more than double/treble the work and anxiety. I'm done.... I have to say though, my DH is one of 3 and his family getogethers are way better than mine (family of 2 children).

Oh Pooex - sounds horrible (and yet so funny after glass of vino). Be glad for 5yr old wearing 2 tshirts...

I think you would find the convenience vs cost of online shopping outweighs the trauma of shopping with 3, but then I'm usually a working mum so can allow myself these indulgences to go to the park instead but if I was at home all week I probably wouldn't!
