to wonder what is so "fiddly and annoying" about draining a tin of tuna?

I'm seeing the new advert for John West tuna rather too frequently, and I just can't see what the problem is with having to drain the tin.
Is it just me?

Sorry, but now you know the truth. You should be grateful, really...

tuna! love it, however, when my tin opener broke, I had to buy a new one, then, realised it didn't open tuna right! Had to go buy ANOTHER one at 3 times the price....
Had a tinned salmon incident recently too..... it sprayed me!! I changed my top, wiped my chest then went out.
Cue the stench of fish........ my bra! I had to smear perfume all over me!
ack what a ponk

Hahaha, some of these posts are hilarious!
Incidentally I don't eat tuna, but have opened enough tins of it in my time to know that it isn't difficult. I guess the drained tuna tastes different because they would need other things to preserve it.
A wee tip for those with gammie tin openers - lift the tin off the surface and it usually works. This could be tricky with tuna or pineapple, but just do it over the sink

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds this advert annoying, I was shouting at the TV last night!
