...to know, in advance, that the left over banoffie pie that is in the fridge will be eaten by me for breakfast, no matter how much self control I think I have?!

I made one for after dinner tonight and my sub-consious has allready earmarked the left overs for tomorrow morning! Is it just me? Or do you do the same?

redsofas · 15/10/2009 22:40

i would do the same although i may not last until the next morning

mawbroon · 15/10/2009 22:40

Eat it before you go to bed, and then you won't have the breakfast problem.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 15/10/2009 22:40

Put it in your tummy the bin

TheHeadlessWombat · 15/10/2009 22:41

You have more self control than I have if you can hold off until breakfast.

moondog · 15/10/2009 22:42

Don't.You will be full of self loathing afterwards.

TheFallenMadonna · 15/10/2009 22:43

You know, I wouldn't be full of self-loathing...

moondog · 15/10/2009 22:44

Oh well, go ahead then....

TheFallenMadonna · 15/10/2009 22:46

I'm not the OP. No banoffee pie in my fridge sadly

TheFallenMadonna · 15/10/2009 22:48

Actually, I wouldn't do it myself, because I'm not mad on sweet things for breakfast, but self-loathing moondog. That's interesting

againandagain · 15/10/2009 22:52

Mmmmm self-loathing vs banoffie???
If it wasnt so damnn easy and quick to make I would not be in this mess!!

Sweet stuff for breakfast? Yuk. It's not a calorie thing, would happily eat a cooked breakfast/ brunch on a weekend, just not into sugar first thing. Not that into sweet sickly stuff in general so don't get the eating sweet things = guilt thing as don't want to eat puddings often.

Tidey · 15/10/2009 23:21

Mmmmm banoffee pie. Haven't made one of those in ages. Good idea for a weekend treat, ta very much

Ivykaty44 · 15/10/2009 23:25

It sounds far better than having pizza or breakfast - when shall I pop round and will you save me some to save feeling so guilty

pjmama · 15/10/2009 23:26

When I lived alone I would occasionally make myself a big trifle, with raspberries and swiss roll and custard and cream etc. Then I'd have a bowlful for breakfast every day until it had gone! Disgusting behaviour, but very yummy

againandagain · 15/10/2009 23:27

I like your idea........share the guilt!

shopping for new jeans in the morning...

omaoma · 16/10/2009 22:10

oh, meant to say - you do know that desserts you make yourself are calorie-free, don't you? it's like organic chocolate

teamcullen · 16/10/2009 22:25

mmmmm banoffee pie for breakfast.

Cant you class it as one of your 5 a day with the banana

I like aunt bessies cherry pie, there is only DD and me who like it so that means cut into 4 pieces, one each after tea, one for me for late night supper and a piece for breakfast

againandagain · 16/10/2009 22:46
