For more than a decade now I have served up spare ribs in a complex, delicious marinade of tomatoes, garlic, honey, thyme, etc.
DH asks tonight if I would like him to make dinner. "Ooh that would be nice," I say, "I was going to do the spare ribs, but they will need a sauce."
"That's no problem," he answers "Don't you just pour a tin of tomatoes over them".
