Hi all

I probably am being unreasonable but its really brassing me off.

I Love my dh and we tell each other every day BUT he is driving me mad, last nite he kept looking at me all doe eyed saying 'love you' im trying watch TV fgs lol. It just seems be taking the specialness away, i dont want tell him as it would hurt his feelings, i might do it to him when he is watching something see how he likes it!

My dh sometimes does this a bit too often, especially in front of other people which makes them and me feel embarrassed and a bit sick. I like affection but not when it becomes cloying and needy. He used to hold my arm too tight when walking down the street too - like he was a PC leading me off to the nick. I hated it and felt controlled. God, I'm a cold bitch.

Well I learned a new phrase today.

The Mens Health thread on it is very funny.

"....even if I have been with a guy for over a year, it makes me want to tear off my skin if he tries to wake me up by stroking my eyelids, or gives me a present with a photo of his face on it..."

Suspect the female equivalent is something like the 'Stepford Wife'. Only met a rare example but just makes me want to shout 'Grow some balls woman!

To the person whose DH holds their arm tightly on walking down the street - DH and I could not believe the couple we saw one day where the bloke had his hand holding onto the back of his gfriend's neck! He was marching her down the street by the nape of her neck - most odd.

ScaryFucker · 13/10/2009 21:21

I hate feathery-stroking

just get hold of me, ffs

passionfruity · 13/10/2009 22:19

My DH doesn't feel comfy holding hands and instead insists on linking arms like we're OAPs / like it's your dad walking you up the aisle!!

SolidGhoulBrass · 13/10/2009 23:39

ICK!!!.

As you were.

LaurieFairyCake · 13/10/2009 23:47

I see loads of people walking down the street with the man holding the womans neck

tis better than the one time I saw a man fingering his girlfriends anus while casually walking along the street

LaurieFairyCake · 13/10/2009 23:48

it was when he went to use the cash machine I really objected though

BettyTurnip · 13/10/2009 23:53
