Yes I'm a nosey parker.

When people start AIBU threads about specific
situations of a 'What should I do?' nature then never update on what they did do I become irrationally irritated.

So if you ask for advice on a problem please come back and tell me us all what happened.

Ta.

Or if you think I am BU then as you were.

Excellent outcome, Binkster, I remember your thread

And I too am never shopping in LK Bennett...chance would be a fine thing!

OurLadyOfPerpetualSupper · 17/10/2009 19:32

Hijacking somewhat, I stupidly bought an LK Bennet dress from their outlet shop, which of course I only realised made me look fat and frumpy when I got home.

They'd only give me a voucher because it was from their sale shop, and now, 4 months later, it's burning a hole at the bottom of my bag.

Can never find a single thing I really want to spend £99 on.

MichKit · 18/10/2009 13:22

OurLady, poor you. Its a lot of money too!! Can you use it in a LK Bennett concession in somewhere like John Lewis? Then you can at least have a fair returns policy.

OurLadyOfPerpetualSupper · 18/10/2009 14:00

That might actually be worth a try MK - I'd thought of buying something and taking it straight back but would die of embarrassment if they pulled me up on it in the shop and made me take another feckin' voucher.

But John Lewis might be more deceivable amenable.

Can't seem to get that crossing out thing to work.

Heated · 18/10/2009 14:04

OLOPS, crossing out needs two -- both directly before and after the word. Try it.

I also really want to know about the family trying to kill ignoring their GS nut allergy - did they ever admit they were wrong? Have they ever seen their GS again?

bibbitybobbityCAT · 18/10/2009 14:13

I posted about my dh buying me concert tickets for my birthday - on a night he couldn't go, meaning I'd have to find someone else to go with me, get babysitter from 5.30pm onwards and travel right across London and back on my own to the gig.

I ummed and ahhed about going but have now put the tickets on ebay and looks like we are going to make a spectacular loss on them.

So am still grumpy.

Heated · 18/10/2009 15:28

Oh yes, the nut allergy thread was outrageous. Hope she booted that lot to the curb.
